====Direct Folders Configuration====

**Data Files Location**

To save Direct Folders settings, you can backup this folder:
- XP: ""C:\Documents and Settings\%USERNAME%\Application Data\Direct Folders\""
- Vista: ""C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\Direct Folders""

====Organize Favorites Tab====

In this tab you can edit the Favorites menu. You can add or delete folders, menus and separators using buttons on the right of the configuration dialog. **To add an application to Direct Folders menu**, use **Add File** button and select .exe file.

**Alternative Target**: Hold the Shift key when clicking to jump to a second specified folder.

**Folder icon:** Select a folder icon that will be displayed in the Favorites menu. Double click on the area below to add your own icons.

====Options Tab====

**Open folder in:** File manager used to explore folders.
- Default: use default file manager (Explorer, Directory Opus, etc)
- Total Commander: always use TotalCommander
- Explorer: always use Explorer
- Custom: use settings in the Options.ini

**""ClickSwitch""**: enable ClickSwitch feature.

**Free space in network drives**: show free space on mapped network drives in the Information sub-menu.

====Applications Tab====

Use this tab only if you need to modify Direct Folders behavior in specific applications.

**Go to:** Jump to the specified folder when Open/Save dialog is activated.
- Last used folder: let Direct Folders store last used folder.
- Specified folder: always jump to predefined folder.
- Default folder: set this if application remembers last folder correctly.

**Don't track this application's recent folders**: Check this option and this application won't affect the global history. E.g. if you work with MS Office, you can set Direct Folders to ignore recent folders used by Winamp.
